This past school year was horrendous. Then I was extended an invitation to participate in the Chippewa River Writing Project Summer Institute. At a Spring Showcase, I spoke with a former college professor and mentor. Explaining that I felt on the verge of teacher burnout (after only 10 years!), she encouraged me by saying, "This is just what you need!"
