Friday we will gather at the Writing Center at MSU (300 Bessey Hall) at 9 a.m. for our winter retreat. We
will discuss the shape of our M.A. programs and issues related to practitioner research. Ellen Cushman has invited those on the MCEE listserve to contribute to a  Google Doc describing aspects of the English Education M.A. programs at our colleges and universities. Please be on the lookout for her email and add your knowledge to the spreadsheet. To give us a springboard for our discussion of practitioner research, I would like to use the first chapter of Cochran-Smith and Lytle's book Inquiry as Stance (2009).  The PDF is below.  If it doesn't work, I will send it individually to anyone who confirms with an email to ellisl@gvsu.edu.
